Smoothie 1: Berry Bundle
This smoothie is for all you berry-lovers out there. This refreshing smoothie is very light on the stomach and therefore works well as a morning or midday snack. Don’t forget the squeeze of lemon, it gives it a great tangy finish!
1 handful of frozen blueberries
1 handful of frozen raspberries
2-3 frozen strawberries
1 tbsp of goji berries
Squeeze of a lemon
Smoothie 2: Plain Jane
Don’t be put off by the name, our team member gave it this name because it suits the taste buds of so many people! This is a great smoothie to share with kids with no ingredient being too strong to put them off. If using protein powder, the amount of water you use will vary as the powder will thicken the consistency of the drink.
2 tbsp of oats
3 pitted dates
1 scoop of vegan protein powder (optional)
Smoothie 3: Café Coco
Coffee in a smoothie?! Yes…it can be done, and it tastes like heaven on earth. When in need of a boost of energy, this combination of espresso, fruit and coconut oil will keep you going for hours and also provides you with a tonne of great nutrients. If you are a real coffee connoisseur, try making your own cold-brew and add to the smoothie instead of the espresso for a lighter taste.
1 frozen banana
2 tbsp oats
1-2 shots of fresh espresso
Tsp of cacao powder
3 pitted dates
Tsp of coconut oil
½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
3-4 ice cubes
