Here are a few ways to use fruit, that may help keep that nasty common cold and flu away!

When you arrive into the office on a cold morning, try adding some freshly grated ginger, a squeeze of lemon juice and a spoonful of honey to some hot water. Sip this delicious and warming drink throughout the morning to help ward off cold and flu viruses. The antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties of honey and ginger combined with the Vitamin C from the lemon juice can provide a great source of protection during the colder month.

If you’re a fan of granola, porridge or cereal in the mornings, try adding some chopped up banana, blueberries and strawberries to your bowl.
